Sean Featherstone
Principal
Sean Featherstone has been the Managing Director of DBL College since May 2003. He was educated in Dublin and pursued a successful marketing career in the United States and England before returning to Ireland and realising his ambition of establishing DBL College.
John Morris
Registrar
John Morris, the college registrar, was co-founder of DBL College in 2003. Educated in the U.K. John qualified as a lawyer in the 1970's before moving to Ireland in 2001 where he also qualified in the Irish jurisdiction and became a specialist immigration lawyer in 2002.
Elaine Cohalan
Programme Director
Elaine has been with DBL College since October 2005. Originally a tutor on one of our business programmes, she is now programme director of our Business, IT & Healthcare courses. She also coordinates and supports the IT activities in the College. Elaine is BSc graduate of Cork Institute of Technology (Software Development & Computer Networking), and a MSc Graduate of University College Dublin (Cognitive Science).
Una Tynan
Director of English Studies
Una worked full-time as an English language teacher at DBL before being promoted to Director of Studies. She is a graduate from the University of Ulster at Coleraine where she studied modern and contemporary history. Since obtaining her Certificate in TEFL, Una has gained many years experience as an English language teacher.
Annette Lambert
Assistant Director of English Studies
Annette worked full-time as an English language teacher at DBL before being promoted to Assistant Director of Studies.She is an arts graduate from UCD and also holds an honours postgraduate qualification in IT which she obtained from NUI Maynooth. Annette is a qualified primary school teacher and has several years experience of teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Teachers & Assessors:
Carla Bennett
Carla has been an employee at DBL since the school first opened its doors in 2003. Carla teaches English full-time and is also the editor of the school newspaper 'The DBL Times'. She is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where she was awarded a BA in English; Carla also has a Higher Diploma in education from UCD
Bridin Lyng
Bridin studied history and classics at NUI Maynooth where she graduated with an honours degree. Since graduating she has travelled extensively and has now settled back in Ireland where she has been teaching English full-time in DBL for over a year.
Elizabeth Bach
Elizabeth (Betty) is a long–term part-time English teacher at DBL. Before moving to Ireland Elizabeth graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish. Elizabeth has several years teaching experience and has taught both Spanish and English as foreign languages.
Paul Nulty
Paul teaches in DBL's FETAC Information Technology course. He has a BA Computer Science and Linguistics from UCD, and is currently completing a PhD in Computational Linguistics in UCD. He also tutors in Java Programming at University College Dublin.
Jenny Clarke
Jenny graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree in human movement and health education. She has been teaching with the last seven years in various topics from English, Mathematics, Physical Education, Sports Science, Geography, Communications, and Early Childhood Studies. She currently teaches part-time on DBL's business programmes.
Mike McVicker
Mike is a graduate of the Irish Management Institute where he obtained an honours degree in Management. Qualifications in Industrial Management, Mechanical Engineering and Virtual Tutoring underpin his experience as a management practitioner. He teaches part time at DBL on the business programmes.
Ronan Tynan
Ronan graduated with Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degrees from the National University of Ireland in Galway. He also has T.E.F.L qualifications and experience. Ronan currently teaches on our english language programmes.
Agnes Bolek
Agnes holds both a BA in Management and Marketing in Public Administration and an MA in English Philology. She has several years' teaching experience both in Poland and Ireland. Agnes currently teaches on DBL's English Programme.
Sonya Kelly
Sonya has many years TEFL experience and currently teaches part time at DBL.
Colm Delmar
Colm obtained both an honours degree and a Higher Diploma in Education from Trinity College, Dublin. He has several years' teaching experience both in Ireland and the UK. He currently teaches English and Tourism at DBL.
Lucia Pacini
Lucia is a graduate of UCD where she obtained a BA in English and Italian. She has several years TEFL experience both in Ireland and abroad.
Oisin Crotty
Oisin is a qualified barrister and teaches English at DBL College on a part-time basis.
Larry Hogan
Larry graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Limerick College of Technology. He has many years of experience in industry, working as a Systems Analyst, Programmer & in technical support, and in lecturing, having taught Computer Studies, Audio Editing & Production, Computer Graphics, Microsoft Applications & Sound Engineering. He currently teaches Desktop Publishing & Word Procressing at DBL College.
Ciaran Armstrong
Ciaran is a former Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of Industry experience. He originally qualified with a degree in Commerce from University College Dublin. He went on to receive ACA & FCA qualifications from The Institute of Chartered Accountants. In recent years he has moved into education and has qualifications from ACELs, JEB, City & Guilds, FETAC & ECDL. Ciaran currently teaches Bookkeeping & Accounting at DBL College.
John Kavanagh
John studied German and Politics at Queens University in Belfast. He has much experience working with languages and teaching students on various projects. He has been part of the DBL team since 2005. He is currently responsible for teaching English language, Business English and various FETAC courses in the DBL business school. He obtained his TEFL qualification in 2004.
