Our Information Technology is a 2-year FETAC level 5 programme in which candidates learn the essential skills and knowledge to help them achieve more with IT in the workplace, and prepare them for further education progression in IT.

The course can be divided into 4 main areas:
- Introductory skills and knowledge on Information Technology (Desktop Publishing, The Internet)
- Specialised IT skills needed for further progression and working in Information Technology sector (Computer Programming, Computer Architecture & System, Web Authoring & design)
- Business knowledge and skills needed in an team environment (Communications, Work Placement programme)
- Personal skills and knowledge for working in Ireland (English as a Second Language, Personal Effectiveness in the workplace)
Business Knowledge and skills developed through this course:
- Information Technology Skills: Programming software, designing websites, understanding and developing computer systems.
- Office Skills: Working Effectively on a PC, using the Internet effectively, being able to operate at your best in a team environment.
- Human Resource Skills: Working effectively with people, communicating effectively with people from different cultures, developing practical skills of operating in a professional environment.
