The first three steps of our English Language programme here in Dublin are officially recognised and assessed by TIE. TIE is the Test of Interactive English and has been developed by the Advisory Council for English Language Schools (ACELS) to meet the needs of students taking English language courses in Ireland and is recognised by the Irish Department of Education & Science.

The second three steps of DBL's programme are officially recognised and assessed by FETAC. FETAC is the National Awarding body for Further Education and Training in Ireland and is funded by the Irish Government under the National Development Plan.
On completion of DBL's 6 level English programme, you will be fully prepared for you IELTS examination. IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. Over 3,800 educational institutions, government agencies and professional organisations across 120 countries around the world recognise IELTS scores as a reliable and valid indicator of ability to communicate in English. The IETLS exam is a prerequisite for non-native speakers of English wishing to complete a university course in an English speaking country.
